The Process
STEP 1
Pre-Production
Before any finalized recording takes place, it's important to figure out if the song is as good as it can be first.
Milestone #1
We discuss the goals of the song and if the current structure meets those goals
If changes need to be made it is communicated clearly between both parties what those changes are
Milestone #2
Both parties have approved of the song
Once this has happened the final recording can begin.
STEP 2
Production/Recording
Depending on the needs of your project, we discuss Where and How the recording will take place.
Milestone #1
All tracks have been recorded properly
After the tracks have all been recorded they are then prepped and sent to us for mixing & mastering per our Mix-Prep Guidelines.
Milestone #2
Once the tracks have been prepped, YOU the client have communicated to me what your mix goals are through our Artist-Questionnaire
Your mix goals are this: If I could sound like a certain artist and have the impact of a certain song, what song would that be?
STEP 3
Mixing & Mastering
Whew, you've made it to step 3 Congratulations! All of the hard work you've put in to your art is going to pay off in this phase.
Milestone #1
We discuss a deadline when final mix and master must be not only Delivered, but Approved.
Milestone #2
Once all necessary revisions have been made a final master is sent to you for final approval
Once approved I will send you all the necessary formats you require for distribution (wav, mp3, DDP, etc.)

Imagine you're going into a big studio with all the bells and whistles. They have a massive desk as well as outboard as far as they eye can see. This isn't the solution for most artists nowadays. Home studios have become so much more capable and it's why making music has never been easier. But here's the thing...you want to do everything yourself, and I get it!
Why hire someone else to help me through the process when I can go on Youtube and learn how to do everything myself?
If your goal is to focus on making the Music great then you have to choose where your focus is going to be, whether on the creative or technical side. News Flash, you can't be GREAT at both unless you're able to put years into recording, mixing, and mastering, as well as songwriting & production
If all of your favorite artists have others to help them why are you trying to do everything by yourself?
If your answer is "I don't have the money" to hire anyone, then it's best you save up so when it comes time to get to work, you're ready to make that investment in the right people.
